i know that some of you guys are like “why put labels on this or that just be yourself” wELL MY BRAIN DOESN’T WORK LIKE THAT okay i have thrived on technical terms because when i was a little kid, no one was there to give me a casual definition about things so i actually love labels because it means that i actually know what i am. i KNOW that i am this or that, i know what people would classify me as. i like being classified, i like having that in my head. cause i can’t really rest well not knowing what the fuck is going on. and i know that some of you might be like “well that’s fucking stupid, you shouldn’t classify yourself because we’re all human why should we set ourselves apart with technical terms blablafuckingbla” nope sorry i don’t work like that.

as god-complex-ish as this may sound, i love knowing what people are. what they could be classified as. all these different categories and so many different thought patterns that discern one individual from another, it’s really fucking fascinating. i just love studying people, people-watching, learning their little quirks and music tastes and making myself see situations through different points of view. “what if i was her,” “what if he was me,” stuff like that. how different lives play out and why they act the way they do, why their viewpoint is one way or another. gah i just lOVE STUDYING PEOPLE other people are literally the most interesting things i’ve ever encountered. if i could go someplace unfamiliar when i could identify my present environment and just watch those foreign people become familiar and soon i fall into their routine and become someone completely different. blend in. mold and shape until i can’t figure out who i even was at first—
